The United States accused Syria on Thursday of building a secret
nuclear reactor with North Korea's help, charging that the
facility had a military purpose until Israel destroyed it in a
September raid. Syria strongly denied the US claims it was
building a reactor. US intelligence officials released a video
that was presented to US lawmakers as evidence of the North
Korean-Syrian nuclear project.
