the view that the Franco-German axis is soon destined to be a new
"power pole," capable of rivaling the United States and

economic and military hegemony over the rest of the old

Federico Bordonaro holds a degree in Contemporary History. He's
currently writing a Ph.D. thesis on European Security and Defense
Policy at University La Sorbonne in Paris, and has published
articles of Contemporary History and International Relations. As
an independent analyst in the field of geopolitics, his expertise
is concentrated in the new structure of the international system
after the Cold War, political realism and the French neo-realist
school originated by François Thual and Aymeric Chauprade.
